Darling, dream!

Today, I realised how much I have dreams that I suppress but when I see someone do it, I am encouraged.

I sat in a meeting today and as I looked at senior colleagues and executives, I smiled and envisioned myself in that position someday.

It did not give me shivers or cold feet but rather, just listening to them, how they communicate and comport, I picked two striking learnings:

• I can maintain my jovial and friendly self and communicate important information even as an executive
• I do not stop learning and it is very much okay to acknowledge growth opportunities even at the top

I sat to get work done and like a flash, my mind reminded me that I have a vision, a dream and I can achieve it. It is not a competition. It is a race I am running and one that I will complete when the time is right.

Darling, appreciate your past, be proud of your now, anticipate your tomorrow.

I am definitely rooting for your dreams to come to pass. Remember – dream big for GOD has you.
