The year was 2018, I was in our shared kitchen and clearing my plates when I saw a pot that was not mine, and I wondered why it was not washed. I got reluctant about washing it because usually no one leaves their pots or plates dirty. I finally took the pot and when I was washing it, a spoon almost fell so I used the pot to prevent it from falling. In that moment, I had an understanding, which is:
Just when I finished washing the pot, I let go, and the spoon was perfectly balanced on another pot without falling. This shows that GOD is continually watching over us. Sometimes HE is just observing and waiting for us to humble ourselves completely; so, HE can see that what HE is about to bless us with will not make us lose control but help us remain indebted and grateful to HIM.
We all want to be transformed, to be elevated to greater heights, yet we are not willing to let go. Is it possible to move from point A to point B if you do not leave A? NO! It is the same when we pray. We ask GOD to bless us and take us to greater wealth, health, and life. Of course, HE has heard you, but you need to be ready and willing to surrender what you have. Do not be selfish and act like “until GOD blesses me, I will remain here.”
Let go! HE will uplift you, and uplift someone to where you once were only if you surrender. It is called FAITH.
‘Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek HIS will in all you do, and HE will show you which path to take.‘
