Daddy,
Who has seen this man of great distinction,
Whose beauty is greater than a rose,
Whose brain is more accurate than the computer?
Where is the born leader,
Who does not believe in anything but the truth,
And he who believes dreams come true?
Who has seen the one who made the ozone his foundation?
He who does not believe in riches but fears God—
The one who walked 1,000 miles without being tired.
What a dad!

It’s incredible how words written nearly two decades ago still carry the same depth—perhaps even more. Thanks to the woman my parents raised, I can look at this poem today and proudly say they have truly done well.
This is for you, Daddy. If my memory serves me right, I once read it to you. Today, I share it again—with you and the world.
I love you so much.
With daughterly smiles,
